These first pictures were taken at the rehearsal the day before the wedding.
Scott's niece Jessie, practicing her flower girlieness.
Jessie receiving instructions from the bridesmaid (Lynn's sister, Sharon).
And the bride and her father, once again...
Moving on to the day of the wedding: Sue decided that she had to have a picture of me getting ready.
These four pictures are of the landscape around the Peter Allen house. The pond area was undergoing some renovations, but wasn't visible from the ceremony or the house itself.
Our friends, Chuck and Gena, who drove up from Maryland for the event.
And the ceremony itself! Tylr and Jenny walked down just before the ceremony really began. I'm escorting Scott's mother (Alyce), and the third picture is of Steve (Lynn's brother-in-law) and Lynn's mother.
The judge, Scott, and I waiting for the bride.
Scott's friend Linford, taking pictures of Scott.
Then we have the bridesmaid, flower girl (dispensing rose pedals), and the bride with her father.
A view of the audience, watching the bride come down the aisle.
The ceremony was short (about 10 minutes), and we walked back to the gazebo afterward, where I gave my toast. These three pictures came from the gazebo area.
Following the toast, the photographer took about seven bizillion pictures over the course of about 45 minutes. While this happened, people ate hors d'ouvres, drank, and chatted. These three pictures are Tylr and Scott's father (Jim); Gena, Jackie, Sue and JJ; and Scott's dad and Scott.
Finally, the dinner! Everyone was famished before, and stuffed afterward. This is a particularly bad picture of the main course: breaded chicken with a pesto sauce drizzled over it, a large risotto cake, and grilled summer veggies.
And here are some of the happy eaters!
After dinner, the dancing started. It was too dark outside for the digital camera, but I've enhanced some of these pictures to make them viewable.
