Jefferson Memorial

Jefferson Memorial

I’m traveling for a conference this week, which means I haven’t been able to work on Kallitypes. I had a good breakthrough just before I left (in fact, 60 minutes before I left, which left me just enough time to sensitize/expose/develop 4 test Kallitypes and bring them with me) and I’m dying to get back to them! Which was at least some of why I saw this particular shot at the Jefferson Memorial last evening. The tonality really caught my eye.

In other news, I apparently labeled a roll of HP5+ as being part of the burlesque show a few weeks back – it must have been knocking around in my camera bag during that event, because it’s really from a few weeks before. It was exposed around EI 400, but I developed it more like EI 35000 (~48 minutes). I suspect the developer I used (Microphen, which I’m re-using since I only have one liter with me) is now depleted because most of the shots look more dense than I’d like, but still reasonable. It’ll be interesting to see how those shots come out when I get back home to a scanner.
